The company LDM has made the new calculating software for its customers and colleagues containing basic calculations of Kv/Cv values of water, wet steam, saturated and superheated steam, thermodynamic properties of water and steam in one phase, thermodynamic properties of water at saturation limit and units conversion.
The purpose of the software is a posibility of immediate calculation at site when PC is not available. The software doesn´t allow a valve design.

The software is available in Czech, English, German and Russian language for free download on Google Play.

The calculating and design programme serves to determine the flow rate of the valve (Kvs, Cvs), check the parameters of the designed valve, select optimum DN and possibly select a suitable valve from LDM production.
In October 2013, we released new version of the programme Ventily LDM which was created by the modern programmer and user interface

What is new in this version and the advantages:

- The possibility of direct swithing among the languages including languages which use Cyrillic

- All settings directly in the menu (default units – liquids, steam, gases / a language including a language for printing)

- Dividing of calculations and designs based on fluids and EN/ANSI standards

- User-friendly work with the project (different ways to save items into the project, creation of folders / a possibility to create duplicates (versions) of the project including its complete folders / attachments – external files, txt files / it is possible to edit directly txt files in the programme)

- Print queues and their exports (direct printing / rtf, with the possibility of merging into one file / pdf, with the possibility of creating summary report)

- Online web updates ensuring immediate availability of all news in product portfolio (automatic check of available updates / the possibility of manual updates)

- An actuator specification (full ordering code creating / checking of independence between an actuator accessories)

Instruction for installation:

If you have already had installed previous version of computing programme Ventily (v.2012 or older) it is not necessary to uninstall existing version before new installation. Both programs could be installed together.

It is possible to start up the installation directly from the website: INSTALLATION

Another option is to download the setup set in compressed form VentilyLDM.zip. The installation will start after running the file setup.exe. PIf you are asked to setup .Net Framework enviroment when programme installation is running please confirm it.

From 8th to 12th of July 2013 the recertification audit of the quality management system acc. to ČSN EN ISO 9001 and the certification of new quality management systems acc. to ČSN EN ISO 14001 (Enviromental protection management system) and ČSN OHSAS 18001 (Management system of health and safety at work) were conducted successfully in LDM by certifying Authority Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Praha. The Authority said that the Quality Management System of LDM, spol. s r.o. has been approved to the Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and issued the Certificate of approval valid until 22nd of July 2016.
